Jon was released from the Intensive Care Unit at Phoenix Children’s Hospital today. He went home, made it up the stairs without trouble, and rested. It’s been hard for him to get sleep at the hospital with the constant beeping and poking, so he’s happy to be resting peacefully! His lungs are still very tight and he’s undergoing respiratory therapy to help them gain strength. In the next couple of weeks he’ll meet with his primary cardiologist and the surgeon that performed the surgery as follow-up. Perhaps tomorrow he’ll be up to writing his own post so you won’t have to just take my word for it that he’s ok! Thanks again for all of the prayers, thoughts, and comments to the blog. I’ve passed them all on to Jon throughout his days at the hospital and he appreciates the support from all of you! Take care!
Hooray!!! I’m so happy to hear that you’re home. I’m in Cali right now, but as soon as I get home tomorrow I’ll call you. Take care and I’ll see ya soon!

Hey buddy,
Glad you’re home. Been praying for you and having others in the office pray along with.
(I just figured out that I could comment via this thing, this morning. You know me and the high tech things!)
Looking forward to it being you on the other end!

Hi Jon and Tricia,
It is more then a week for you being operated. You and Tricia were in my thoughts. I wanted to see you back on feet as a happy family with your baby coming along the way. Although I was not physically with you but I was still there with you. I am not sure how to make you understand this. Coz this is Indian philosophy of being connected to people you love. I love You and Tricia as my very dear friends. I will keep myself updated with your info regarding health. Now everything went well in hard time and now is time for joy and happiness which will increase day by day as you recover. In months time you will be back normal and do what ever you. I have gone through this so I know how you mighty be feeling but it is ok. You have to pass through this so take it as task given by GOD to test you. You will come out with flying colors. I am looking forward to see you in person once you are out of risk of having infections. I will see you in month’s time.
I am not sure to suggest you but I am going to. Take lots of fluids diets which will help you regain strength quick and you will lot have variations in Blood pressure. Low salt, Lots of protein soups and fibrous soup. I hope you do not mind me telling all this. Try staying on this kind of food for at least 3- 6 months. You will never have any problem in life again regarding you operation on Heart. Everything will get repaired. I am not a doctor but I have an experience coming out of this situation. I keep in touch with you. I hope you will like hearing from me.
Your friend
